Designed by Alain Gilles, the Mario Pouf draws its bold silhouette from the iconic Mario Planter. Available in four versions, it can serve as a seat, footrest or side table, adapting to any setting with ease.

Soft to the touch and visually warm, each version is crafted from 100% recycled cork using a two-piece mold, then hand-sanded for a smooth, refined finish. Whether in pure cork or blended with recycled sneaker microfiber, every Mario Pouf is a statement of sustainable design.

Cork: Nature’s Perfect Material

Expanded cork is a 100% natural material made from the bark of cork oak trees. Harvested without harming the tree, the bark regenerates every 9 years, making it one of the most sustainable raw materials available.

Steam-bonded without any synthetic additives, expanded cork is lightweight, resilient, waterproof and naturally sound-absorbing. Its warm, tactile surface brings organic comfort to any interior.

From Sneaker to Seat

The Sneaker versions combine cork with microfiber recovered from recycled sneakers, diverting waste from landfill and giving it a second life as furniture.

Available in white and black, the microfiber adds a contemporary contrast to the cork’s natural warmth, creating a unique material blend that is both durable and distinctive.
